Is the world really ending now?

As many have experienced numerous earthquakes (plus their aftershocks), tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, magnetic pole shifts, and other natural or unexplainable phenomena around the planet, even UFOs, some might be answering “yes” to this question.

As many individuals try to interpret these and other world events and experiences, some using the prophecies of ancient cultures, teachings, and beliefs, many more might be answering this question with an even stronger “yes.”

But, what is really happening?

What is really going on?

Is the world really ending now?

Are the ancient predictions and prophecies correct?

Are we doomed?

Or perhaps, what is happening now is actually an evolutionary shift in our awareness, in our consciousness, in ways we are only beginning to comprehend and understand.
“We as people can all feel a monumental shift happening now on Earth. I believe the shift is energy-based and it’s primarily dealing with our collective conscious(ness). We are being prepped to shift into a higher state of consciousness as a collective and thus, manifest the next plateau of our ultimate capabilities as beings.” - Omar Epps, actor

An Evolutionary Shift in Consciousness

In the early 90’s, I remember reading a brilliant book by Ken Carey called The Third Millennium (originally published in 1991 as “Starseed: The Third Millennium).

In this book, Carey writes:
“There will be a great shift...a single moment of quantum awakening.

Subconscious orientation in fear will be replaced by conscious orientation in love.”
Although Carey does not give an actual date for this “moment of quantum awakening,” he does say the “due date” is “sometime during the second decade of the twenty-first century.”

In other words...right about now.

Is the world really ending now?

What I believe is actually happening is that the world has reached a "tipping point" in the collective human consciousness where love (positive energy) finally is outweighing fear (negative energy) on this planet.

Carey adds:
“Properly understood these changes and their coming have the ability to inspire a degree of hope and optimism unprecedented in the history of your race... though the changes will be dramatic, they need not be traumatic.”
How each of us responds to this global shift, this time of planetary awakening, is entirely our choice.

Carey does offer some guidance:
“You who do your best to make your decisions out of love, who refuse to be controlled by the subconscious machinations of fear, who take time, if necessary, in difficult situations to proceed slowly, consciously, lovingly... You are one upon whom we can depend during the coming shift.

While experience of living in an atmosphere of love is certainly a helpful asset, all that is essential is the willingness to live a love-centered life.”
